Safety-Kleen Emergency Response Service Through Clean Harbors Strengthened by SCAA Announcement

ALEXANDRIA, VIRGINIA – The Spill Control Association of America (SCAA) named Scott Metzger as its new President at SCAA’s recent annual meeting held March 7-8 in Alexandria, Virginia. Mr. Metzger is Senior Vice President of Field Operations for Clean Harbors and holds an oversight role for the Clean Harbors’ National Strike Team that manages environmental incidents. When not deployed on an event, his focus is Emergency Response preparedness, readiness, training and the strategic development of response teams. Mr. Metzger has been with Clean Harbors for more than 22 years.

SCAA Executive Director John Allen said, “We are so fortunate to have someone of the caliber of Scott as SCAA’s new president. We look forward to making great strides for the industry and the Association under his leadership.”
